Law Enforcement & Legal Requests

Guidance for law enforcement and other public authorities seeking information about Fullscreens users.

Last updated: 7 October 2026

Fullscreens is a platform that businesses use to create, publish and manage their content and customer conversations. The privacy of those businesses and of the people who interact with them matters to us. This page explains how authorities can send us a request, what we need to see, and how we respond. It forms part of our Privacy Policy.

01Scope

What These Guidelines Cover

These guidelines explain how Fullscreens Technologies Private Limited handles requests from police, courts, regulators and other public authorities, in India or elsewhere, for personal data about our users or about people who interact with them. They cover all such data, including data we receive from Meta, LinkedIn, X and other connected platforms.

Our Approach

We respect the rule of law and cooperate with valid legal requests. We also protect our users' privacy, so we only disclose personal data when the law requires it, and only what is necessary. We do not give any public authority direct or bulk access to our systems, and we do not build backdoors.

02Submitting a Request

How to Contact Us

Send requests in writing to grievance@fullscreens.in from an official address of the requesting authority. Requests made informally, or through any other channel, are not acted on until they are received in writing.

What a Request Must Include

A request must identify the requesting authority and the officer responsible, state the legal basis under which it is made (for example a court order or a notice issued under applicable law), identify the specific account concerned, and describe the specific data sought and the time period it relates to.

03How We Review Requests

Legal Review

Every request is reviewed by a director of the company, with legal counsel where needed, before any data is disclosed. We check that the request is genuine, that it is made under a valid legal process, and that it falls within the requesting authority's jurisdiction.

Requests We Decline or Challenge

If a request lacks a valid legal basis, is outside the authority's jurisdiction, is unclear, or is broader than its stated purpose requires, we ask the authority to clarify or narrow it. If it remains unlawful or disproportionate, we decline it and, where appropriate, challenge it before the competent authority or court using the remedies available under applicable law.

04What We Disclose

Only What Is Required

When we are legally required to disclose data, we provide only the specific data that the request lawfully requires, for the accounts and time period it names, and nothing more. We do not disclose data in bulk.

Notifying the User

Unless the law prohibits it, or notice would put someone at risk of serious harm, we tell the affected user about the request before we disclose their data, so they have the opportunity to seek legal advice or object.

Emergencies

If we reasonably believe that disclosing data without delay is needed to prevent death or serious physical harm, we may disclose the minimum data necessary in response to an emergency request from a public authority. These requests are reviewed and recorded in the same way as all others.

05Records and Platform Partners

Records We Keep

We keep a record of every request: the date, the requesting authority and the people involved, the legal basis given, the data requested, our decision and the legal reasoning behind it, any data disclosed, and any notice given to the user. Records are kept securely for at least three years.

Platform Partners

Where a request concerns data we received from a connected platform such as Meta, we also follow that platform's terms, including any requirement to notify it.

06Transparency

Requests Received

We have not received any request from a public authority for our users' personal data, including requests related to national security, in the past 12 months. We review these guidelines at least once a year.
